Defining, Recognizing, and Awakening Mental Health and Well-Being

A Self Study Program to Realizing More Love and Compassion Through an Understanding of Three Universal Principles.

“Seeing ‘psychological innocence’ in the past and current attempts to label and classify the suffering of ‘lost thinkers’ ushers in compassion rather than judgment”

The essence of this 12-session [each 2 hours] course is an incremental experience of being willing to ‘not know’ and then being ‘gifted’ with clarifying insights of knowing.

Each session is co-facilitated by Dr. Bill and a fellow 3 Principles student or mentor including: Ron Kingbird; Judy Sedgeman, Ed.D; Dr. Shadrick Mazaza; Christine Heath, LMFT, CSAC, MAC; Lloyd Fields, MSW, D.Min; Chana Rosenblatt, Ray Lewis and Linda Pettit, Ed.D.

“Bill’s Master Mentoring Courses are infused with devoted time spent in quiet reflection and disciplined study of theory and research. I know! I’m his wife! Bill’s grounding in the Three Universal Principles is deep and has evolved from a direct, long-standing relationship with his mentor, Sydney Banks. Working with him will expand your spiritual understanding and provide valuable information for working with ANY and ALL, I repeat ANY, and ALL clients.

As I’ve lived by his side for 20+ years, I’ve watched Bill work miracles with his individual clients. His magic is a combination of his absolute “knowing” about the universal principles that are the source of life, his complete faith that human beings are never broken and have nothing lacking, and his mind-blowing Love. I simply have not witnessed a more forgiving human being with a clearer spiritual understanding. Bill is a perfect example of a man who lives what he teaches.”

More about the Course…

Session 1: with Ron Kingbird, Red Lake Nation Traditional Elder and Three Principles sharer for 20+ years

All psyches are inherently equal, as everyone shares the same innate source of wisdom. Perceived differences arise only from individual levels of psychological and spiritual understanding. Knowledge can come either from intellectual learning or from deep realizations within consciousness. However, people can obscure their innate wisdom through their thinking. Psychiatric symptoms reflect a person’s current level of understanding and consciousness, representing where they are, not who they are.

Session 2: with Judith A. Sedgeman, Ed.D., Three Principles Facilitator and Educator for more than three decades, Author, It All Started with a Bird

Principles are universal truths without exceptions. Through Mind, Consciousness, and Thought individuals create their personal psychological reality. Universal Mind and personal mind are two expressions of the same spiritual source. All humans can align their personal mind with the impersonal Mind to achieve harmony. While the brain functions as a biological computer, the Mind is formless and spiritual, providing the power that drives the brain.

Session 3: Q & A session with Dr. Bill Pettit, Ron Kingbird and Dr. Judith Sedgeman

Session 4: with Dr. Shadrick Mazaza, BSc., MB ChB., MFam Med., FCFP [SA], Physician, Philosopher, Professor, Author, International Speaker and Coach, Founder of the African Consciousness Institute

Consciousness is the gift of awareness, enabling us to observe creation, which is shaped by Universal Thought. Erroneous thoughts obscure consciousness, leading to distress, confusion, and isolation. Thought is not reality, but it creates our personal realities, influencing feelings, moods, and perceptions of life. Wisdom, an innate intelligence within everyone, serves as an inner guide. Thought is the key link between mental health and suffering, offering infinite ways to shape our experiences and understanding.

Session 5: with Christine Heath, LMFT, CSAC, MAC, licensed marriage and family therapist in both Hawaii and Minnesota, cofounder and executive director of the Hawaii Counseling and Education Center, Inc. Trainer in the Three Principles for 30+ years, Co-Author with Lori Carpenos, The Secret of Love

All life is the same energy, in both form and formlessness, together creating the oneness of existence, often called God. Nothing exists apart from or greater than this whole. Seeing life as one rather than through the duality created by the ego reveals truth and reconnects us to divine wisdom. Listening for positive feelings can guide us to the answers we seek. Restoring the alignment between personal intelligence and spiritual wisdom is essential for resolving a misguided life. Chronic mental stress (CMS) imposes psychological and physiological burdens, known as the Allostatic Load.

Session 6: Q & A Session with Dr. Bill Pettit, Dr. Shadrick Mazaza and Christine Heath

Session 7: with Chana Rosenblatt, Director, Rabbinical Training Academy and CR Practice, Three Principles Practitioner

All humans seek enlightenment, whether consciously or not. The universal center of all existence is God, while the individual center is the soul. Misguided thoughts are the root cause of violence and cruelty in the world. Thought influences mood, tension, and clarity, which manifest as internal "alarms" or symptoms, while somatic symptoms like pain or sleep issues are physical "alarms." Unhealthy behaviors in response to these alarms are external symptoms. Thought is the key link between well-being and suffering. Chronic mental stress (CMS), if unchecked, intensifies internal, external, and somatic symptoms, potentially leading to mental and physical impairments shaped by genetic, social, and environmental factors.

Session 8: with Lloyd Fields, MSW, D.Min,, worked as a Social Worker for 34 years including at the Modello project utilizing a Three Principles model [profiled in a book by the same name by Jack Pransky, Ph.D.] Currently, outreach coordinator at S.H.A.R.E House, a Domestic Violence Center in Georgia. USA.

Living in the now happens when the personal mind is free from past memories and future fears. Painful past experiences are no longer real; they persist only as thoughts carried through time. When negative thoughts fade, the beauty and positivity of life become clear. Peace of mind cannot be achieved through analysis, as feelings reflect the quality of our thoughts. Positive, loving thoughts and feelings foster mental health and access to inner wisdom. While medications can ease distress, they cannot directly bring peace of mind.

Session 9: Q & A Session with Dr. Bill Pettit, Chana Rosenblatt and Lloyd Fields

Session 10: with Ray Lewis, Three Principles Trainer, Community Leader, Organizer and Facilitator promoting personal, social and economic empowerment.

Love, understanding, and compassion align humanity with its true inner nature. Judging yourself or others leads to unhappiness, while living in the past prevents finding joy. Forgiving a person differs from condoning their actions. "Psychological innocence" reflects that all behavior arises from what makes sense to a person in the moment. Wise individuals find happiness not by avoiding hardships but by understanding them. Recognizing psychological innocence frees the mind from anguish, pain, and the negativity of an unforgiving attitude.

Session 11: with Linda Sandel Pettit, Ed.D, Visionary Guide and Communications Creative; Author, Leaning into Curves: Trusting the Wild, Intuitive Way of Love, Psychologist and Counselor for 40+ years, Three Principles Facilitator for 20+years

Spiritual wisdom resides within the consciousness of all living beings. Gratitude for what you have opens the mind, allowing wisdom and contentment to flow. Without wisdom, the intellect can lead to chaos. Wisdom clears biases and reveals the beauty and connection shared by all people. It brings common sense and clarity. Complicated answers come from the intellect, while simple, profound truths arise from the Spirit.

Session 12: Q & A Session with Dr. Bill Pettit, Ray Lewis and Dr. Linda Sandel Pettit

“I had the pleasure of spending several days alongside Dr. Bill Pettit both in Prague and Bucharest and the wisdom, presence and love with which he comes into every interaction is palpable and touches people deeply.
He has so much experience and has helped so many people find their innate health that he could be considered a celebrity, yet he remains incredibly humble and keeps being a lifelong student of Three Principles.
The combination of his deep knowledge of the workings of human body and brain with understanding the spiritual principles operating behind the scenes gives his words and impact a unique touch. But with Bill the words are not what matters. It is always the feeling behind the words that creates true miracles. I am grateful to have him in my life.”
