After 42 years as a practicing psychiatrist and teacher of spiritual consciousness, I’ve come to a surprising—and hopeful—conclusion: Mental health isn’t something that must be diagnosed and “treated.” It’s something to be remembered.

I’ve worked in nearly every psychiatric setting imaginable: hospitals, community clinics, universities, private practice, military installations, geriatric units, adolescent care, and addiction recovery. I’ve written peer-reviewed articles. I’ve consulted in academic and medical settings. And I’ve sat across from thousands of people struggling to understand their experience.

In all of it, one truth has stood the test of time:
We are not broken.
We are spiritual beings, whole and well at our core.

Our suffering comes not from what happens to us, but from the innocent misuse of a divine gift: the power of Thought. This understanding—what I call the Three Principles of Mind, Consciousness, and Thought—transformed my medical career and changed my life. And now, in this season of my life, I feel called to pass it on more fully than ever before.So, I’m offering two Legacy Programs this year—two immersive, transformational learning experiences where I’ll share what I’ve seen, what I know, and what I hope will live on long after I’m gone.

This is an intimate, in-person experience (with a livestream option) where I’ll walk you through the insights, stories, and spiritual awakenings that shaped my understanding of healing.I’ll share about my time with Sydney Banks, the man who articulated the Three Principles understanding that has quietly revolutionized lives around the world.

We’ll talk about diagnoses—what they are and what they aren’t—and I’ll share real-life accounts of people who experienced what I can only describe as miracles when they touched the truth of who they are. This program is the culmination of decades of medical, psychological, and spiritual exploration. Over the course of eight months, we’ll explore a revolutionary premise: All psychiatric diagnoses stem from one root cause:
